I know when I was making the decision about having this surgery, what I really wanted was context from people who had or considered having this surgery. It was a (very) hard and prayerful decision for me. I think it took me a couple of years to actually make the decision. It has been a very good thing for me. But it’s not for everyone. So I wanted to help provide context for others as I could.
